In my previous roles working with startups, I created promotional B2B material for a variety of marketing purposes. These experiences were great opportunities to hone my research, design and copywriting skills. Below is a sample collection of my work:

Content Marketing - Thought Leadership

Working at ConnXus has taught me the value of content marketing/engaging potential clients through educational material. Typically the brand distributes content in a variety of ways: white papers, blogs, social media posts, automated email campaigns, partnership press releases, and conference/trade show print pieces.

I've written many blogs under the brand voice. I've interviewed industry influencers and researched procurement/supply chain technology, paying attention to the newest trends and gaps in content that our brand can fill. PDFs of a few blogs I wrote (published on https://connxus.com/blogs) can be found in the following Google Drive Links: (Images were edited from royalty-free stock, or created by me with company branding elements)


White Paper/Research

As I write in a technical field, research is a big component of my work. In the first few weeks of my role, I learned industry-specific jargon and vetted many potential sources for credibility and authenticity. I found that I had to balance storytelling with facts and business value, while delivering a concise brand voice. Below is an example white paper I wrote and designed for an industry conference in 2018. The article covers the RFP process and introduces original company research, proposing a new solution for the future.
In addition to writing under the brand voice, I've also written under the voice of C-suite executives. For example, here's an article on "Whole Brain Thinking" I wrote for the COO. I've also written paid promotional and general thought leadership articles that have been distributed by recognized industry experts with high levels of engagement:

A Collection of Branding Pieces (2016 - 2018)

Below is a sample of other communication pieces I've worked on in the past related to a brand's products/services. From left to right:

1) Ingage promotional flyer: to hand out to potential clients, summarizing the IT consulting startup's service offerings and unique value proposition
2) Promotional flyer for a Hackathon sponsored by Ingage and other tech companies in the Cincinnati community (copy was provided, then edited to fit)
3) I reworked IP Toolwork's design guide per feedback from the founder (seed-stage startup at the time in legal software automating the patent research process for IP attorneys)
4) A digital marketing piece summarizing the year's performance at ConnXus, distributed on social media and the blog website
Thrive Flyers (2016)

During the summer of 2016 between my sophomore and junior year, I interned for an IT startup that trained locals below the poverty line in technology/QA testing, connecting them with jobs and careers in IT. I created promotional flyers they would take on the road to engage with potential employees, customers, and trainees. The copy has been written/edited to appeal to three different target audiences. From left to right: 

1) The backside of every flyer summarizing Thrive's commitment to the Cincinnati community, a simple message of hope and encouragement 
2) Copy aimed at hiring technology professionals/mentors (while also summarizing services - for exhibitions) 
3) Copy aimed at pitching sales/services to new clients
4) Copy aimed at bringing in new students to join the educational cohorts and training programs
